JOB TYPES: FT/PT; MUST be a U.S. citizen.

OVERVIEW: As a Remote General Notary Public, you will play a crucial role in facilitating legal documentation and ensuring the authenticity and legality of various transactions, all while working at home. This is a U.S. based position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer oaths and affirmations virtually to individuals executing documents.
• Witness signatures on legal documents, such as contracts, affidavits, and powers of attorney, through video conferencing platforms.
• Ensure the proper identification of signatories to prevent fraud and maintain document integrity.
• Maintain accurate records of notarial acts, including digital documentation of dates, times, locations, and parties involved.
• Provide clear explanations to clients about the purpose and legal implications of notarized documents in a remote setting.
• Stay updated on state-specific notary laws and regulations applicable to remote notarization.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active Notary Public commission in whichever U.S. state that you reside in. Previous experience with remote notarization is preferred but is not required. Able to pass a complete background check.
• In-depth knowledge of remote notarization laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
• Proficiency in using video conferencing platforms and digital document management systems.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in a virtual environment.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Computer, Internet, and a home office set-up.

PAYMENT: $125.00-$200.00 per loan signing appointment.
